Teens on Fire is a youth led service-learning program which focuses on positive peer leadership, bullying prevention, community engagement, and peer-to-peer mentoring. This diverse group of students serve as mentors to the middle school students that they call “Sparks.”
This program is designed to provide positive interaction and role modeling. The focus is on team-building, cooperation, effective leadership, problem solving, conflict resolution and community engagement. This peer-to-peer mentoring program will help prepare the middle school students for a successful transition to high school where they will have the opportunity to then become part of Teens on Fire!
This program is currently being facilitated in Bordentown Regional High School and Middle School and has been a success for the past 4 years!
